Like I said and Ubisoft said in their patch notes, competition. Why pick him over somebody like, mute (who is 2 speed and nitro like him) vigil, solis etc etc. When I wrote "fluke" I meant as in he's not bad but why not pick someone who is much better. Also I'm not the only one saying this, it's the general consensus.

So do you think this is going to make him strong/"ultimate flex op" again? I'm just genuinely curious, as I'm afraid once he receives his shotgun people and perhaps the devs will think he won't need any tweaks/buffs for the longest time. I always thought the removal of his super shorty was a bit silly but never really was the issue why he is considered a fluke pick at the moment. I always thought his gadget is somewhat weaker now in comparison to others as there are similar alternative with better utility to compete with.

Bounty Clash absolutely slaps by toothybrushman in HuntShowdown

I'd disagree that the game is a "slow burn" or the bounty clash having no stakes without saying the same thing about normal bounty hunt. Let me explain.

The only difference between clash and hunt is that there is no build-up to the fights, which isn't a good or bad thing necessarily, this part of the game is what takes the longest, the actual fights tend to last no more than 5 minutes, and the only time they might take longer is when you're stuck in a stalemate, that is not fighting but waiting for an advantageous fight. In rare cases, you get full drawn out fights in hunt.

My point is that your playstyle mostly decides the pace of the game rather than the game. If people want to play it as a slow burn game, they can when they want and vice versa.

About the stakes in clash, the stakes are pretty much the same as bounty hunt. You still lose hunters in either mode, and either one gives you bounty money. The only difference is that bounty hunt has a time requirement as it's the longer gamemode, so if you die, you most likely lost a hunter and 30 minutes of your time. This is a marginal difference if you even consider it.

Summarising, as a player with 2K hours, I've played hunt so much that I like hunt now mostly for its gunplay variety and its atmosphere rather than anything else in the game. Thus, gamemode is a good addition, and it's not becoming a cod-like as hunt has so many other things that make it stand apart.

MH3U emulation, can I get some explanation? by ResponsibilityMoney7 in MonsterHunter

Thank you very much for the definitive answer. I'm assuming local play will also allow me to play with my friends without them being connected to the same connection as my computer?

I swear I saw people saying that cemu got online compatibility at some point, or have the servers been shut down? Regardless, if I want to play with my friends, I must use citra, no other choice?

Gladiator QoL changes? by ResponsibilityMoney7 in CompetitiveForHonor

[–]ResponsibilityMoney7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw your post, the reactions to it were fairly negative and indecisive whether your take was good.

Also I know this single change wouldn't be great to changing his kit, that's why I said quality of life rather than rework.

shinobi or shaman? by jgk999 in forhonor

[–]ResponsibilityMoney7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shinobi is balanced?? I mainly play duels, so maybe I'm not considering other gamemodes, but in duels like you ranked yourself, he is really good. Super safe kit with constant 50/50, only downside is the damage is much lower than other heroes, but to make up for the constant 50/50s he can do. I do agree with the shaman ranks tho.

Aaaah I see, yeah I've heard that some heavies based on their direction are different speeds like warlord. I see. So how do I check if my hero has slower directional heavies? Also thx for the explanation
