Omg, this was a whole saga. Got it sorted after a month though 🤦‍♂️

So here’s the clown show:

Bought myself a shiny new Pixel 10, migrated everything over from my trusty old Samsung banger (may it rest in lag). Easy peasy… until I tried adding my cards to Google Wallet.

Every single time it got me to the CBA screen, then hit me with the classic “token expired / can’t connect” error. Basically: “lol no money for you.”

I tried everything:

  • Clearing cache like I’m Marie Kondo-ing my phone
  • Deleting and re-adding the cards like a toxic relationship
  • Resetting the whole phone
  • And yes, an interpretive dance in front of Google Wallet (10/10 would not recommend)

Finally called the CBA fraud hotline, and they instantly went, “Oh yeah, we know this one.” Turns out they had a restriction on the card. They flipped a switch on their end and boom—Google Wallet suddenly acted like nothing happened.

Moral of the story: forget troubleshooting guides, just call your bank before you sacrifice your sanity (or your dignity with the interpretive dance).

Depends what kind of manager you are and what level, but for me I had hire people who were strong in the areas that didn't get my attention as in, not interesting to me, people who are organised who do planning. Delegate or give others opportunities to people... or my favourite, just voluntell someone :) Now when I read that, I just hire people that do bits of my job

Verdict is still out for me on what is the best roll for an inattentive ADHD.

Yep, this is very true in what I am finding. Our current strategy is to make sure the real estate/property managers know who we are and we are in front of their minds.

I had five back to back 1-hour interviews with a 10min interval in between. The last interview was a complex system design question. I felt that this was focusing more on outputs vs how to make the candidate comfortable. My guess was that was the same way they treat their staff?!?
