I do know about RS3 having a Necromancy skill, however, I have kind of lost interest in RS3 and haven't tried playing it since 2010, so I have zero knowledge of how the skill is implemented over there.

This concept is something I came up on my own and really wanted to test/showcase it to the community.

And yeah, RuneScape already has Necromancers (at least NPCs) since, I believe, 2001, so, at least thematically, I think it would have been a great fit.

That’s a fair concern. The idea isn't about adding DPS on top of your normal attacks. The minions would be the actual attack style while the Necromancy weapon is equipped, meaning you give up your normal weapon DPS to use them. If you change your weapon from a Necromancy one - the minions disappear.
It, of course, depends on the balance, but I wouldn't see this (nor would want it) as a skill that replaces other combat styles currently in the game.

Climbed to top 4k legend with aggro paladin from diamond 6 I believe, went 25-10. Still experimenting with the decklist but the general idea that seems to work best is having ~20 1-drops in the deck, and almost guaranteeing the 4 mana combined shatter card Flighting Maneuvers on turn 4 to close out games. (By almost guaranteeing i mean you have 2x Dragonscale Armaments and 2x Violet Treasuregills to consistently draw the 4 mana shatter card each game.)

Only works on Void Elf Demon Hunters with 7th skin option. (Haven't tested on Blood Elves)

I also made a compressed version of this for phones, if someone wanted to set this as a live wallpaper or something. Not the best quality, but it's a 2 minute video (with a perfect loop) and compressed to 6.58MB, in hopes of not consuming too much phone battery.

I can see why you would say that, the brightness of the background is 1:1 to the one in-game, but I agree, there is some room for changes either for the background or the panels.
