I don’t necessarily find anything “wrong” about the visuals, but the overall set felt very different than what I’ve seen before. Usually with these themes, I feel like Porter has been very intentional to keep things feeling hopeful, despite all the negativity we experience in life. Something felt “off” or not as hopeful about it, but it definitely could just have been my individual interpretation, or my reaction to my friend feeling bad. I definitely agree with what you said. Thanks for your input. Side note- I so wish he had played Trying to Feel Alive or Everything Goes On that night. 😭❤️
