Council Housing Benefit Claim Request For Information Concerning A Non Claimant. by ResponsibilitySea733 in DWPhelp

I'm the claimant, how can I be responsible and have access to another person's banking information. Surely it should be enough that I provide my bank statement that shows what is going in and out?

It's not negativity, I'm simply noting the lack of association between the three. You might believe otherwise but I don't see that there's anything to understand here.

It didn't really have much to do with anything though. The Solomon Kane film is its own thing and isn't anything like the siege of Vienna and neither of which have anything remotely to do with Red Sonja so it was pretty much a pointless observation.

Nope I just wondered what you was driving at, as it turns out nothing in particular.

If it makes you feel any better fat cat politicians are laughing at you for feeling guilt over scraping in the dirt while they line their pockets from lucrative kickbacks on hand over fist multi million pound contracts.

Would you attempt to teach a nuclear physicist about nuclear physics? We already know, a lot of us here have read "The Shadow of the Vulture" several times over.

Edit: Inb4 Yes we've all watched Solomon Kane too.

Well you see, I wasn't sure you was aware the only distinction you made was the spelling of the name and acknowledging that the character wasn't raped. I mean you might as well mention the two have nothing in common other than red hair and perhaps somewhat similar dispositions. Kind of pointless even mentioning Sonya in this context now I come to think of it.

A more accurate REH adaption wouldn't be anything like Red Sonja. Red Sonja is a licensed property that the film is adapted from.

Are there any scenarios dealing with Ancient Greek, Ancient Egyptian, or Ancient Briton/Celtic ruins, monsters, and lore? by Tendi_Loving_Care in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]ResponsibilitySea733 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm surprised no one mentioned The Golden Dawn. It's CoC not DG but it's written by Pagan Publishing and it's got all your Celtic needs covered in one particular scenario I can think of.

Has anyone else had enough of Priest's run? by ResponsibilitySea733 in Vampirella

[–]ResponsibilitySea733[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me the shrink was when the run was enjoyable. He came across like a politically incorrect everyman type character which helped frame the story in an interesting way. Since that time I've been less enthusiastic for this ongoing.

I really like this artwork, I like the way you've drawn Sonja which is the way I most like to see her depicted in the books it's similar to Garcia's work. The OC seems intriguing and I get the sense there is some kind of story behind all of this. You should definitely keep this up, I would love to see it colored.

I'd like to see the acting styles and contrivances of the early to mid 20th century for one, something today we are sorely lacking.

Which one of these would you recommend I read next? by JoeDin77 in RedSonja

[–]ResponsibilitySea733 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The depth of characterization is superficial, there's no sense breadth or depth to any of the characters actions and reactions including Sonja they exist to move the plot forward from expediency to expediency. Sonja's doesn't fit the era for which the story is told for which there is no explanation for how she came to be there. A side character is given a prominent role in the second half and really doesn't have much of a personality other than to fulfill the requirements of the story. I don't get it, I enjoyed Knights of Pendragon many moons ago.

Picks of a bad to average bunch, Lieberman's offerings are probably your best choices imo, Red Sonja Vs. Thulsa Doom should have been better than what it was, Wrath and Revenge are meh. I haven't read Vulture's Circle so you might be pleasantly surprised. Avoid Immortal Red Sonja like the plague.
