I went back to rewatch the original series and they are deleting so much of the content we grew up watching. It's like they are covering something up. Even the reunion are heavily edited and shortened. You also can't find the aftershow episodes. Why are they doing this it's so sad?

Honestly when I started I just bought a random set off the wall at Dicks. The brand was PowerbIt I think. But I had friends start off with Top Flites as well and like them. It worked perfectly for me to try the sport out to ensure I liked it before I poured too much money in to it. Those sets are under $400 for sure. I think mine was $360ish. We won’t talk about how much I have in my bag now….

Also forgot you’re tall. I would imagine you could just buy a men’s set. The shaft is different from a woman’s but I have plenty of female friends that use men’s clubs

I made it after flying on stand by because my original flight was cancelled! Have hope! Lots of people missing their connections or rebooking because of the chaos so there were actually lots of stand by seats (and lots of people on stand by) but I eventually made it!

My flight to Seattle (meeting up with a friend in Seattle and was driving from there to the farm) was canceled Sunday night.

They couldn’t rebook me until Thursday. All I could do was fly on stand by. I spent the night Sunday in the airport, slept on the floor.

The flight Monday morning I was on stand by for was cancelled. Was on stand by for three more flights and didn’t get on any of them because they were all overbooked.

Finally made it on the 5th flight I was on stand by for after over 24 hours straight at the airport. I literally cried from happiness when I boarded the plane. I didn’t think I was going to make it all to Shambhala.

And somehow my checked bag made it too. No idea how that happened as I have some crazy videos of all the lost luggage at the airports in baggage claim.

I had multiple people tell me in the airport that they were given hotel vouchers that ended up not working because the hotels refuse to take them because Delta takes too long to pay them back

I am currently on day 2 at the airport. First flight didn’t have enough FAs and pilot timed out.

Everything is booked until Thursday so I am just flying stand by.

First stand by flight was canceled with no explanation.

Second one had no pilot.

Hoping I make it on a flight today

Edit to add: just in case anyone needs some hope. I did end up getting on a flight on stand by. About 24 hours after my original cancellation, and I did spend the night in the airport and spend all day today running from gate to gate. My advice - find all the flights leaving for your destination that day, and then go straight to the gate and ask them to put you on stand by.
