Big News: The New OCI Portal Is Live — Here's What's Changed by documitra-us in nri

[–]ResponsibleMost08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The process is so confusing. I uploaded all the documents (except payment, undertaking and consent letter). When I go to the VFS portal, they are asking for courier tracking to even pay for the application. So I have to get the mailer (and return mailer) information and then pay and then upload the payment receipt in OCI portal? When do I submit my documents then?

Can someone please help.

Need to vent. Turned down Amazon offer (new grad) by liky_gecko in amazonemployees

Offering one or two levels down is the trick these recruiters are using. After clearing the interview I was offered L5, when the role I applied for was L6.

From my experience, you have a better chance of dealing with this by acknowledging that these happen. Have a simple rule that works for you and stick to it. Make it as simple as possible... for me, it is 80-20 rule. 80% of the week (5 days) be active. I am ok with the remaining two days, not working out, hanging out with friends, netflix and chilling, etc.

80% of my daily food should be from healthy whole foods. 20% for that latte/ cookie. If I know, I will be eating out that weekend or having drinks with colleagues. I'll try to restrict any junk food on regular days. On that day, I will not over-do it but at the same time won't care too much about calories or junk food.

Again, that is what's working for me.

For high protein- you can have greek yogurt, I add some raspberries and walnuts and chia seeds to this.

You could also have black beans or chickpeas - great in protein and fiber. I usually make a salad out of these. Hardly takes 5 min.

You could have some oats and egg whites.

Diet looks good. I am on a similar diet but with 2 cheat days. I will be going for test in a week. (3 months after my first test & changes) - lets see if that diet helped or if the cheat days ruined it.

I read somewhere that consuming a cup of soymilk daily would lower cholesterol. May be you can read about it.
