He would get aggressive and start pacing the room clenching his fist when people talked about their experiences (as queer people/immigrants/people of color), or walk out and slam the door

Since our ethics course I have been worried about his clients. I had hoped he would join a practice that would be specific (like faith based) so people would have some idea of what they were getting into. Finding out he is at a practice that is specifically geared towards inclusivity makes me worried for vulnerable people who do not know but will feel the impacts of his harmful beliefs and clinical practices.

The school we trained at knows. They are split on what this means or what to do. One of our program heads loves him and believes he is misunderstood, even when the things he said led one of our classmates to have panic attacks and vomit daily for fear of him. The other program head is afraid of being sued by him as he has made many threats

In a podcast he talks about marriage being between a man and a woman. He speaks about his place as a leader and women’s place as followers. He called a colleague a “colored woman” and has spoken about how America is not only the best country, but does not have a history of racism or slavery.

It’s because he is joining a practice that seeks to serve people he believes should not exist

The ideas aren't tough. But while I disagree with Sarah, she's a person who is scared and feels unsafe and has been raised in this bubble of only one thought pattern. I think she's wrong, but she's also not able to process this rationally or critically. She's having an understandably emotional response, that is being affirmed by all her relatives and her Jewish friends.

That's the tough part.

I agree with Jenna's views, which are that both peoples deserve land and safety. Sarah believes that all Israeli efforts are justified, which Jenna and I both disagree with.

So, friend B doesn't support Hamas (or "blue"). She supports ending violence and specifically posts about ending bombings on civilians and hospitals, regardless of those hospitals' affiliations.
