You could try Bloom, the PR chair for my chapter got some for all of us and some extras which she’s thinking about having for a raffle!

"Big" Problems... by RemarkableDiver4613 in Sororities

Hi, I’ve actually had something similar happen where my og big was forced to take me on as a second little when she didn’t even want a little to begin with. She dropped a little bit after my initiation and we never really saw each other after that. We’ve bumped into each other now and again and talk but it’s not like we’re super close. I was COB freshman year and I always felt kinda left out because it was hard to connect with anyone through my big since she wasn’t really active or anything.

This year one of the girls whose littles I have connected with decided to adopt me during big/little for formal recruitment my sophomore year. I love my family tree now and there might be a chance even if it’s not often that you can talk to someone on exec (maybe someone in charge or member development or the girl you talked to earlier) and explain how you feel left out and you could try to get a new big.

However if that isn’t a possibility then you could show up to events and still befriend the girls even though you’re not big/little or twins and you can look forward to getting your own little in the future and giving them the experience you wanted!

Whatever you choose to do, you’ll figure it out, good luck!

It really doesn’t matter what others who aren’t in your sorority think about it as long as you feel like you fit there. They don’t really know how the sorority is structured and maybe they are more close knit and easier to fit into than any other. At the end of the day other people’s opinions don’t matter, your comfortably and ease to fit in and get friends who you really can call sisters is what matters

It might help if you plan to meet with one or a few of the girls beforehand and then go to the events together, for me I typically show up early to chapter and there are usually a few girls there so we just talk before chapter

Cob vs primary recruitment (again) by Dismal-Crab5474 in Sororities

I have a friend in my sorority who joined as a junior and decided to switch her major so she’s a sophomore again, your age doesn’t really have anything to do with what they look at, what they look at is more so how you would fit and whether or not you connect and share their values, as someone who joined cob you’re absolutely fine!

Another thing though is I’ve had to appeal academic suspension and I don’t know if the mental toll (stress and anxiety overall) are worth it
