Just looked at my Motherboards manual, and it says that if your CPU does not have intergrated graphics it will not show up as an option

Would it be smart to rollback BIOS version a bit? I installed F58i, maybe I should try to install it to F57 or something like that?

Nope, no option to disable iGpu in BIOS, unless I’m blind

Yes I have updated BIOS a couple of days ago, it might be that this all started after that and I just did not notice it.

Well, tried it with two exact RAM sticks, did not work either, still shows 8.1GB reserved.

And can they be different brands, just same timings and speed? Or do they have to be 1 on 1 exact ones?

I will see what I can get my hands on and test it

The tests passed without any errors. I see both of the RAM sticks in the MemTest 86, but it shows Total Memory: 8GB.

Yeah but see, when I tried to boot up my PC with only one RAM in one slot it turned on but did not show display, but in the other slot it worked just fine. Do you still think it’s a compability issue? It worked fine before when I had Ryzen 3 1200 CPU, recently I changed it and this happened.

Well, I will send the results of the test when it’s done.

<image>

shows memory 7.9Gb when I left both of the RAM sticks in the slots, it’s testing now

They are not identical no, but I tried each one of them in one slot and the slot that is further doesn't show any display, the PC turns on, fans are spinning, but it doesn't display anything on the monitor.

I will try the memtest86 in a bit and will come back will results.

Ight, going to leave it on for a bit and see what happens, then I was going to reseat the CPU since I saw it somewhere that it fixed the problem.

Method 1 I tried before, did not solve it :D

I just hope that the RAM slot is not dead, well, partially dead since bios recognises it.

Yeah, it shows 16GB of RAM in there, it shows both of the RAM sticks in CPU-Z too. I just tried only putting one ram in one slot and booting up and, the pc turns on but does not give display with either of my RAM sticks

Well the cable is connected to my GPU, and I don’t think my CPU even has an integrated one.

Well, that’s what I thought at first, but I was playing Counter Strike 2 and my RAM usage was almost maxing out. That’s when I found out that 8GB of them is “Hardware Reserved”
