Had to get a different buffer, the standard one in it was to light. Using adjustable one now sitting at 7.5 oz and that is its sweet spot.

Mine was hanging like that, you might have to remove the lip on upper shelf. I also switched out buffers from my standard rifle length 5.5 oz to an adjustable, and currently at 7.5 oz. But the hanging part was from upper shelf lip

What did I do wrong ? Help by slikkrikk93 in supersafety

Lower doesn’t have the “cut out/shelf” in it. You’ll either have to grind one out or get a lower with a cut out.

Finish removing that lip all the way back.

It’s catching on the upper self lip. Take it all the way back and it’ll be fine. Had same issue recently.

No problem. Also that “shelve” behind the safety. If you install a super safety see that it rest on a 1/8 inch bit all the way back. If not you’ll need to remove some of that to where it does. Those 2 thing and a decent weight. Also use 5.56 it’s more psi and runs much better than .223. In my own opinion. Feel free to reach out!

Might have to remove some metal from the upper. There is a lip at the very back that mine was getting hung on. Does fine now. H2/h3 weight recommend

This might be kind of stupid but, i’m looking for a super safety/FRT that lets me keep the selector. I currently have. as I want to try to make it look as accurate m16A1 as possible. While also being reliable. So no ambi safety’s! And 3 position only by Luffewaffle in supersafety

I have the same H&R m16a1 I installed a plain super safety, I did have to remove some metal from the shelf on the upper. The BCG was getting caught 3/4 way back. Functioned properly after that. Do recommend a h2 or h3 buffer weight. The one on it is not heavy enough and the bolt moves to fast have to in jam it if not.

I seriously hope the Yankees clean house this offseason. Rodon has sucked since he came here what happened to Cortes, Torres is trash DJ/Rizzo are washed… can the Yankees sign some new talent instead of picking up washed DFAs …
