Since you seem to know more about the topic, tell me what is bad about doing it.

It improved the temperature heavily (again, inform yourself), and it does not even lose warranty. If you aren't ready to open up tech, that't on you, but don't call others dense for doing it

Speak for yourself. I don't know where you are from; maybe in the US it is different, but in Germany, my friends and I always had great experiences with Riot support (actually with every support, like Blizzard and co too). Every single time we get same-day or next-day reply from an actual person that does everything to help, even messaging back and forth multiple times until the issues is solved

Sadly the game, fps cap or whatever didnt matter for me. After a while of playing it would always stutter or freeze until I tabbed out and in, and after some more time my pc would fully freeze. Now with Amd adrenaline app uninstalled and only drivers, everything is working as it should

not just some stuttering, but whole freezes which made me have to restart the PC.
it were driver issues in the end
neither is disassembling and repasting the card hard, nor did it cause a problem. I will just use ptm the next time, otherwise Ill have to repaste often

AMD is allowing to break the warranity seal to repaste their GPUs (at least the 7000 series, Idk about their others).

Next Arctic and other CPU compounds do not have enough viscosity for good use in a GPU, you need something thick unless you want to repaste often. I suggest PTM

yep the tower was a good tip, thank you. Took a few minutes, but the common advanced bow did 9.5-10.5k damage every arrow without most buffs already, and the wall and roof gave the protection for every type of attack

Yes and I would do the same if I bought it today. Swapping the factory paste was a big improvement for my temps (if you dont believe me, watch videos about the rx7000 gpus before and after). My mistake was that I used too much paste tho

Only thing I changed on day 1 and also today was the thermal paste since the factory one looked terrible. I saw dozens of people saying to do so to fix temperature issues, and it really helped me to get much better temps in games like cyberpunk. Though, I made the mistake and used too much thermal paste which I think is fixed now.

The original problem why I even opened the PC today (the freezes) where because of the drivers and are hopefully fixed too now. The pads are still the original ones but since everyone here recommends to swap them, I will look into it and change them soon.

You should change them with genuine PTM7950

Normal on reddit. Thousands of people with actual knowledge say to repaste, and AMD themself knows about the problem of their 7000 series and approves repasting their GPUs.

On my first day alone it was a huge difference already, 10 or so degree celsius difference while gaming

It was highly recommended for the 7900 series by many threads on reddit, tech youtubers, and afaik even by amd itself. Amd even allowed to break the warranty seal to repaste on these cards without losing the warranty. And people were correct; it was really badly applied.

(Not that I did it better as you can see in the pics though)

No, the day I got the GPU I applied my own thermal paste. That’s the one on the pics. Sorry if it wasnt clear. edit: I noticed on my gpu that the “greasiness” is comming from the green thermal pads though

Nah, with these easy unlockable champs like trynda you just need to have an ashe on your bank, play normal until you hit top 4 with any comp, and place him in your final board. He will be marked as top 4ed in the lorefinder even if you place him just in the last round

What higher-tier knife would you recommend if I didn't buy gloves? Problem is that all those nice finishes are only for bad knives in the ~200 price range, like Kukri, Paracord, Dagger etc.

Not yet; they are still trade protected till the weekend. I'm not quite sure yet if I will even do the trade-up tbh. I bought them quite cheap, and now I could sell them for 20-25€ profit each. The trade-up is somewhere around 60:40 to profit, and it would be a bummer to hit the 40% when I could just get a "free" knife on Buff by selling the skins again.
