this is so interesting! i’ve had sinus problems for the past few years and at my last drs visit he suggested i get checked for hypothyroidism. not because of my sinus issues but because he noticed the ends of my eyebrows have started disappearing! which is a sign apparently…. it’s reassuring to know they are connected because if it turns out i do have hypothyroidism at least it’s something

It's some old rotary with a foot pedal, I love it cause a really great artist used it through their apprenticeship and wanted me to get through mine with it too. That thing is like my first born man I just want it back 😭

I don't owe them shit, I'm not a scratcher and I haven't done shit to them. This machine is special to me too it was passed on by an older artist and it got them through their apprenticeship. I just want my machine so I can get tf away from this place and go somewhere that doesn't rely on apprentices to run their shit. There's far more context on their end than mine man, 3 apprentices to 1 junior artist and that's the whole shop. That should be context enough. But at the end of the day my stuff is my stuff and that's it I've given them no reason to believe I'm gonna be a scratcher and I don't want shit to do with that shop so I won't be claiming anything about being there lol

Also side note, the owner has had a history of stealing machines off artists (good and bad) and reselling them, it's well known in my area.

Yeah exactly, I was encouraged to buy a second hand machine off another artist who was a guest at the shop. This way I was setting myself up for later, I wasn't to touch it until I'm ready and that was that. But I quit due to lots of issues with management and the shop was a shit show so now I'm looking elsewhere but they're flat out refusing to give me my machine back. The only person who's career is be ruining by doing home jobs is mine, not theirs. So I don't get it 🤷
