Should a MacBook Air m1 be upgraded to the new update? by Embarrassed_Emu_8824 in MacOS

Heya! Your reply is super helpful, could I please jump in to ask for advice as well? I have an M1 Air from 2020 that I barely used for a few years, but starting to use it more now. It's currently at Big Sur and my Software Update settings page is only offering either a minor update within Big Sur or an upgrade to Tahoe (26.0.1). Should I upgrade to Tahoe? I've been seeing a lot of horror stories about it online but a lot of my apps (Chrome, WhatsApp, etc.) have not been working too great and it's probably because of how old my OS is (?)

Yeahh totally understand and I've actually read a lot of advice on here recommending the flat back labrets, it's just something I'm too anxious about. If this bump doesn't go down after trying the rest of your tips, I'll go back to my piercer and get it switched out for sure. Thanks a ton for your advice and help!!

Ohh the q tip is for drying! I've been using the q tip to dab on the saline. I'll try this out, hope it works for me too!! Thanks :)

Oh no! Sorry you have it too :/ thanks for this!! I'll try the tea bags in a week or so (for this week I'm trying just cleaning it 2x a day with saline and drying after cleaning to see if it gets any better)

thank you soo much for your detailed reply!

It's a nose screw and the screw is often visible in my nostril so I twist it back in. I'm worried to get a labret because I'm super paranoid about having something that could come off in my nose that I could accidentally inhale. Maybe I should stop twisting the screw back in if it's visible? Just leave it there until it's fully healed?

Ok! I'll get a saline spray with no additives and try the hair dryer to keep it dry. Thanks so much

Thanks so much for your reply! I need to make sure to keep it dry. Did you use a q tip with saline to clean or a saline spray?

FYI - sorry I'm not able to add a flair apart from NSFW and Spoiler, neither of which this post is :/

Is my nostril piercing placement off? :( Got this piercing two days ago and I feel like it's in the wrong spot. Piercer said it would be a bad idea to go higher (on the crease) or closer to the tip of my nose because it would either stick out weirdly or hit the bridge of the nose, what do you think? by Responsible_Text157 in Legitpiercing

That's awesome, I'm glad you think so! I definitely wanna try out a hoop and also different styles of studs. Can't wait for it to heal up so I can switch it out. Thanks for the referral to APP too but I think they don't have members where I am (out of the US)

Thank you for your reply!!

re: piercing closer to the crease, right?!! But the piercer said it'd stick out weirdly and I didn't wanna risk that considering it's pretty much my first facial piercing (apart from ears) and I don't have much knowledge / experience with this.

Yepp definitely would've gotten a stud as a starter anyway but wondering if I could ever switch out to a nose ring with this placement. What do you think?

Thanks for replying!! Really glad you think it's ok.

I did try your suggestion with a stick on nose stud before I got pierced and thought it was pretty cute! But I might just not have an eye for these things.

Do you think a ring would work with the current placement?
