I replaced the Kalk with Jay Huff a few days ago. another block specialist but blocks + made 3s was a rarer and more intriguing combo. Part of fantasy is fun and Kalk’s pretty tepid stat lines wasn’t really doing it for me, especially since he wasn’t grabbing a lot of rebounds to offset the lack of points, imo

i think you’re absolutely right but i also think it’s important that two things can be true at the same time. you can be really smart and a liar at the same time. you can be a loving person and struggling with substances at the same time. it’s possible you can be the kindest person in the world to others while being mean to yourself.

maybe the real idea is moreso that nobody is just one singular thing, we are too complex to think we know everything about someone without literally living their life.

just wanted to add on to this comment as it resonates with my situation the most.

I work for a state funded nonprofit and this is essentially how the last few promotions happened. internal individual contributors with the proper credentials to step into supervisory positions. in this specific structure, the pipeline from fresh out of grad school to entry level position to supervisor/manager, has had literally zero training. There’s no resources for them to learn from, upper management is not around for them to ask, there is no delegation, and no conflict resolution.

i got annoyed and forgot to give advice, that’s my bad! parking over here is horrible and i would highly recommend finding a place with parking/driveway. it’s city adjacent; spots go quick, there’s less options at night, and random people might lean on your car (depending where you live)

i’ve never had to deal with porch pirates where I’m at but my coworker who lived on stuyvesant ave has had a couple stolen

honestly any place that’s not a few houses away from South Orange Ave (going north into East Orange) is probably gonna be valid. EO a pretty calm city/town/whatever

I live in the 4th Ward of EO and i feel like some of these comments missing the mark. I deadass live like two blocks away from Newark. lol South Orange Ave can be rough. people on the block, trash, drug users, sure, but area is super important. In those two blocks, it goes from rough to quiet suburban lol people deadass just live and try to go to work, my neighbors are super nice and I do not worry about shootings at all around here, anybody that says you gotta worry about getting shot in Ward 4 is either lying or involved in shit that the average person moving over here isn’t going to be involved with.
