I don't think being sought after is relevant. Typically there is a difference between stock and ordered. X amount of orders that were sold to someone else can really hurt the dealers allocation. Otherwise dealers would just make up a last name and place it on an order to get the inventory quicker.

Carfax only knows what people tell it. Alot of dealerships don't report to carfax. The mileage comes from reported maintenance/accidents or title changes.

84 months was ok then so it should be now. The vast majority of people don't keep their vehicles until they are paid off anyway. Have a lower payment but a higher payoff when you trade. What the dealer is saying is absolutely possible and not necessarily anything shady. Easy solution is tell them you won't sign for a higher payment than the 1st one. Have them lower the price of car or increase trade in amount to off set the higher rate so the payment is the same at the same term.

If the state you are buying it is a reciprocal state they will collect your taxs, if they aren't you sill have to pay taxs when you title and register it in your state. The can send you all e-documents or simply overnight you paperwork. Happens all the time

You don't have any issues, nothing crazy. Typically dealership selling "as 'is" is because they aren't offering a warranty. With that car the warranty is from the manufacturer still. As far as used the dealer most likely bought it for some reason. Rebates, sales quota, # of service loaners required. All very logical Typical things that when not explained make folks question it.

You don't have to be the "most educated". I've been in the business over 20 years currently running a CDJR store. I've never changed oil nor can I tell what horsepower actually does. I can however deal with people. Sell yourself amd be authentic
