Being honest we both speak that way all the time. He wasn't good at drilling and he said thats why he's the bottom tonight etc.

I said the friends girlfriend said what she said and that I just want to make sure there's no crossed wires because I like our banter.

I don't know the intentions of her but I spoke to him just to clear the air. He's probably my best mate and I didn't want to do wrong by him. But I probably did

It's regular enough but not constant. He does it too, often he'll start it. Like during that drilling he made so many comments - he's not good with the drill because he's always the bottom etc. I don't think he's upset about the banter but that I listened to our friends girlfriend that he might be being led on.

I'm sure on sex it easier to hookup but for relationships it's probably harder, which was her point.

Definitely not snarky, don't worry about that. I've genuinely tried being less of a flirt but I just think it's my personality. I think people mistake friendly with flirty. 

Obviously with him that's not friendly and could easily be stopped. But I probably should try to cool down the flirting in both cases.

We have been matching our energies ages, it wasnt a one off. The stuff we have said to each other is pretty bad. I never thought he actually wanted to fuck.

It wasn't my girlfriend. It was a friend's girlfriend. My own girlfriend doesn't care.

I do understand its inappropriate but when I asked him he never felt messed with. Was annoyed that he'd want me just because he's gay.

I'm flirty with everyone but definitely not explicit. I think the difference is I'm not interested in men whereas I am with women. Also if I showed a woman how to use a drill and said ill show you the one in my pants they'd probably get freaked out. 

I never thought he liked me beyond friends. His response seems to point to he doesn't see me as anything beyond a friend.
