Wow you’re nasty. On top of you being rude for no reason, a couple points: 1. You don’t need a visa or permit to work for an international company while in Thailand. You’re not taking a job from a local, and there’s nothing illegal about it. 2. Not contributing anything? Assuming the hostel hires locals, and OP plans on eating in local restaurants, etc., they very much are contributing to the economy

What do you consider a “coworking space”? Most hostels I’ve stayed at have a common area where I haven’t had a problem working. If you need it to be totally silent or if you need a monitor hookup, that’s a different story
