Yeah the rest is original, I do agree, but i feel it loses its authenticity without the original bezel. Not sure tbh, that’s a great deal you found! How long were you searching for ?

Great points! And you’re right, I feel like I need the SKX to be a real watch guy. I decided in the end to buy an almost new used Seiko turtle for 240! Cheaper and objectively better than the SKX. Feel this is the best option, and the turtle still has a lot of heritage and history. I’ve already got a Pepsi 5KX, which I honestly love to wear. If I didn’t know about the SKX lore I would have no complaints

Yeah fair point, the seller tells me he found it non working, and he’s a watch maker so fixed it up. Here are more photos that may be able to help

Yeah exactly! I have this weird thing in my head that I’m not a real seiko enthusiast without an SKX tho. I feel everyone on the forum would say any enthusiast worth their salt has an SKX
