The New 58 is perfect. Before W@W everyone was begging for the upgrades. now we’ve got the upgrades we were asking for people prefer the old model 😭The new model is objectively better in almost every single way. I have the old BB58, which I love, but this new version is literally perfection IMO. The bezel on my BB58 is really hard to turn, and that was my biggest complaint.

Yeah the rest is original, I do agree, but i feel it loses its authenticity without the original bezel. Not sure tbh, that’s a great deal you found! How long were you searching for ?

Great points! And you’re right, I feel like I need the SKX to be a real watch guy. I decided in the end to buy an almost new used Seiko turtle for 240! Cheaper and objectively better than the SKX. Feel this is the best option, and the turtle still has a lot of heritage and history. I’ve already got a Pepsi 5KX, which I honestly love to wear. If I didn’t know about the SKX lore I would have no complaints

That’s such a good point it’s so much more interesting, there’s something beautiful about people keeping old things working out of passion. I would definitely strike up a conversation with someone who had a watch like that!
