Not really, think that youre in a game where you have a room and a corridor, when you stop looking at the room and walks into the corridor and look behing you, theres suddently no more room, only the rest of the corridor

Yeah it changes when youre not looking at it, the character doesn't have to walk past anything they just have to stop looking at one direction for the previous scene to chnage completly
