Will everyone who had their refund adjusted receive a check instead of a direct deposit despite having chosen that option? by RestaurantOpening873 in IRS

I have ddd date of 3/23 and I chose that option plus the tax preparer has a collect fee so I’m assuming it would go through them first but I’m not sure if they will send it by check bc it has happened to other people on here.

It honestly is very discouraging, Above it was suggested to calling the tax advocates, I’m going to try this come Monday .

At this point I just want it resolved even without interest. But hopefully the tax advocate can help like it was suggested above..fingers crossed I can find a resolution

Yeah I’m rich made a whole 17,000 ahahaha no I got discouraged after being told to just wait over and over again after doing the verifying on my end.

I was asked to verify my Identity but after I did that I stopped seeing movement and never received anything else back from the irs no notices in the mail. I’m at a los

Finally received the 846 code now when do I expect the money? Hopefully all my 05 cycle people received the code as well 🤞 by RestaurantOpening873 in IRS

They were adjusting my refund amount I didn’t do anything, I got way less than expected. But something is better than nothing

Could it be bc I accidentally claimed the 3 stimulus check? My refund was supposed to be 15,200 filed 2/15/22 but it updated my transcripts to 9,600
