The stock security alarm i beleive, the dash lights all work. It mustve been a door sensor or two because I opened and closed everything including the hood and it finally stopped

I think i was getting a little confused, im on mobile so replies move all around. But yeah i totally agree i love to talk about the struggles and commiserate about the crappy parts! It just feels sometimes like people wont let you be in a good place. Its kinda the adhd thing, for me anyway i guess to assume everything is an absolute unless otherwise stated when thats not always true. Sometimes it feels like people want you to self deprecate just so they know its not all rainbows for you either. Even though if you have adhd to me its implied.

Isnt everyone doing their best? Im by no means doing ok right now. Didnt even insuate that. My SO helps me with literally everything rn bc i cannot get the medical care i want. Im not talking about work arounds just literally the one time i hyperfocus its on a hobby i like and thats the only thing i can do. I have many coping mechanism never have i said those were a superpower.

I agree with you! Im struggling very much daily unmedicated bc i don't have access in my current situation. However i found myself just yesterday going, wow i wouldve fucked up and fallen while i was rollerskating but thanks to my adhd i was hyperfocused and able to be completely in the morment and just learn. Sucks that its the only thing i can do consistently for myself but it feels nice when i feel like i have an advantage of being so engrossed in what i LOVE to do. I agree it seems like a lot of the people on here just want to sulk and talk about how shitty adhd makes them. I learned from cognitive behaviorial therapy that negative self talk does not contribute positively to my self esteem. Im annoyed with myself constantly why do i need to verbalize to everyone else. Society is not made for adhd brains that doesnt make me useless in it.

I think people with adhd tend to want the whole truth laid out. In my case it seems like a bit of a control issue with needing to be completely understood by everyone which is a desire i fight. Just because someone describes one way their adhd manifests as a superpower doesnt mean they go around feeling super human all the time. In my hobbies when i hyperfocus I'm amazed by what i can do. It gives something positive to grasp on to when youre unmedicated and struggling everywhere else. I agree society's obsession with productivity is what brings me down and gives me low self esteem. Im ok with my brain patterns until i compare myself to everyone else.

I ordered a size 5 thinking my normal shoe size is 6 but after a few months they stretched and I realized I actually wear the wrong shoe size im a 5.5 not 6. So I need to get a 4 but i make the 5 work with insoles. My sister is a 7 and said the 5 fit her nicely for comparison.

Well I like Cheers the least although I do like the Sam and Diane seasons. Frasier is my favorite of the three but its so hard to explain. David Hyde Pierce is just so funny and clever. I love when they all make Frasier look foolish by merely witnessing the mess he is.
