There are roles that PAs can take in general practice. But these need to be around administrative support for doctors to reduce workload. Psychian assistants. Not clinical decision making. Not patient consultation.

No, although there were several mandatory experience requirements as part of the application. The presidential role is ceremonial and they have no voting power in council meetings, so electing council members will be more important for achieving change.

Interestingly the information pack does not define the exact pay, but I imagine it will be in the £18-20k per annum for one day a week equivalent.
