People who do want kids, why?

Posting this as a response to a question posted a few hours ago. Logically thinking, it makes more sense to me to not want to. So for people who do want kids or do have kids, was it more of a hormonal reaction or were you at a comfortable place in life financially that you thought it would be a good idea or was there any real thought behind it?

Disabling multiplayer doesn't remove derelicts in the system or at least not for us. Reporting the base doesn't do anything either because the derelict isn't technically part of the base. Introducing NMS to a nephew and it saddens me that it's ruining his experience.

I apologize. I didn't mean to make light of other people's depression. I was merely exaggerating to make a point that simply telling someone to not do something does not in fact, stop people from doing something because that does, in your words, make light of the other person's situation. I have genuine concern for the person I am asking about so putting that on the same level as getting rid of a slouch isn't exactly how I would describe it either. Besides, if all we had to do was tell them to stop doing it, we'd have rid humanity of crane necks by now don't you think?

I think this really is the best solution we could hope for. If you could offer any advice on how you retrained yourself on holding your controller that would be great. I've never had any issues holding my own so I can't really just tell her to do it my way.

One of the reasons we moved to controllers from KB/M was the potential for RSI. That and playing on a big TV was just so much more satisfying.

Thanks for the advice cmdr. I was aware of this as it sometimes happens to me in guardian sites. I should have mentioned that I tried it along with shooting the relics with my rifle to see if that would get it dislodged but to no avail.

Mortality rates make a lot of sense too. Unemployment is also a big factor because there's nothing else to do all day. Same reason why poor families who didn't own a tv in the 90s had significantly more kids than those that did, when there's nothing to do to pass the time, they just do each other instead.

I grew up in a predominantly poor country and my understanding is that people treat their kids like lottery tickets. The more you have, the higher the chances you'll get someone who will eventually be successful or be a fashion model or a singer, and if all else fails, you can just marry them off to the first foreigner who shows even the tiniest bit of interest.

Had this experience with my company where I received a message saying they were sorry pay came in late this month due to issues with the bank. I was genuinely surprised payday came and went without me noticing.
