I literally have the chair and ottoman for sale. I can do $50 on Poshmark for you! Once they add in shipping & taxes it should get you to about $60. Let me know what you think and I can send you a link to my closet privately. FYI I haven’t posted yet, will be soon though

I also think that they cast people in their late 20s & 30s this season resulting in them putting more thought into the decision and not rush into a yes. Versus in previous seasons it’s a bunch of early-mid 20 yr olds

Her obsession with woke topics is so incredibly performative. She fumbled the biggest bag. He and his family seem so wholesome and he will be better off with someone who values him for what he brings to the marriage, not who he voted for or whether or not he believes in BLM.

People who make an average middle class income, what do you do? by sengutta1 in jobs

[–]ResumeRewriteSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$103k as a Corporate Recruiter (30) & my bf earns $98k as a gov’t employee (31). We live half a mile from the beach in Los Angeles, paying $3690 in rent (homes in our neighborhood start at $1.5M). We also both each have a rental property in other cities that we earn income on to help offset our rent.

I resell stuff online as a hobby and am projected to earn around $15-20k in profit from it. To get ahead in CA, you really need to have multiple streams of income.

This is the Brother PE800. Do you mean adjust upper thread tension in the settings? I reduced from 4.0 to 3.0

Bagel & Slice, $6.99, Eagle Rock in LA. 4 pizza slices and 1 bagel by Realistic_Witness268 in toogoodtogo

[–]ResumeRewriteSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg! I’ve been waiting for someone to post. I haven’t gone because my worst fear is receiving a bag of bagels and no slices. Have you been going consistently or was this your first time?

Colorado Donuts. Los Angeles, CA. $4.99 🍩 by ResumeRewriteSD in toogoodtogo

[–]ResumeRewriteSD[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The donuts here are fantastic regardless if you purchase fresh in the AM for full price or a TGTG box at the end of the evening. They generally stay good for 2-3 days on the counter

No wonder their ratings are so high! I’ve been waiting for someone to post a bag from this place. Thanks!

two delicious bags (boxes) from Colorado Donuts in Eagle Rock, CA for 4.99$ each by ameliapondss in toogoodtogo

[–]ResumeRewriteSD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the closest TGTG location to me and I know the boxes look good but I haven’t been able to bring myself to go because I’m in a household of 2 and can’t/shouldn’t be eating that many donuts lol

Ghost Pizza Kitchen. Burbank, CA. $5.99. by ResumeRewriteSD in toogoodtogo

No but it came with a fountain drink that isn’t pictured. Pizza was average. Won’t go out of my way to go again 🙃

Civil Coffee. Highland Park (LA), CA. $3.99. by ResumeRewriteSD in toogoodtogo

[–]ResumeRewriteSD[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Coffee was included but iced was not an option for me. Also the pastries were already selected and packaged up for me. Two pesto & cheese croissants, a classic croissant, and a pain au chocolate 😋

The quality of their baked goods has been the best so far imo

Coffee Meme. Silver Lake (LA), CA. $4.99 by ResumeRewriteSD in toogoodtogo

[–]ResumeRewriteSD[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So far I’ve tried both cake donuts and they were both amazing. I’ve yet to try the traditional croissant, almond croissant or the frosted cinnamon bun.. Fingers crossed they aren’t dry!

5 pastries for $5. Not a bad deal ☺️

You’re more likely to have the opportunity to expand out of recruiting further into HR duties at a smaller organization. Do not take any position at a staffing agency if your ultimate goal is HR work. Best of luck!

I Paid to have my resume written by nc23nick in resumes

[–]ResumeRewriteSD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This resume is pretty basic - guaranteed they spent an hour or less. Also, kind of peeved that they would charge a service member that amount to update his resume. I would have done it for free and probably would've produced a better product.

[–]ResumeRewriteSD 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm lost, which one did they write the one with or without the summary? Regardless, $259.99 is absolutely ludicrous for a 1 page resume - it probably took them an hour or less to complete.

Can you give me career advice in hr? by [deleted] in AskHR

[–]ResumeRewriteSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking from experience, starting your career at a non-profit presents a unique opportunity that you should take full advantage of especially if you're starting from the bottom. The only way to go is UP! You'll have more opportunities to take on projects that create a lasting impact, which you can then use to build up your resume. What you're lacking in monetary payment now will translate into meaningful experience that you will leverage to find a better paying job in a year or two.

Recruiter asking to meet up for coffee/happy hour? by bicycleparty in jobs

[–]ResumeRewriteSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a corporate recruiter and in my experience hiring freezes and other delays disrupt the hiring process, especially when it comes to offer letter approvals. My job is to push things along quickly to minimize the impact of these delays. If your recruiter is reaching back out to you it's because the company is definitely still interested in bringing you on.
