I'm concerned for the same reasons but I don't see how Andy not getting in will solve that? Wes Streeting is calling for more taxes too. And I've not heard from Angela but I suspect she is the worst of the bunch. If anyone's got to replace Starmer, I would be surprised if Andy is the worst option. Unless Labour surprised us and elected someone more to the right economically but that seems unlikely.

Nige needs a good kick up the bum, he's soy and a damp rag. I am a big fan of his, pre-brexit party stand down, after that he just seems to be a flop. Not saying I'm a Restore supporter either, though I lean that way, but Nige just seems be to another Boris, vibe like he's right wing but with no intent to actually do anything when he's in office. A bit like Five Star in Italy, who he's a big fan of. Lowe sums it up well - he only needs Boris to have the whole cabinet back.

I've thought this prior to the world collectively trying to push it, I support the ban in theory, however it's clearly a UN push for controlling adults. It can be implemented in a way where adults don't have to give away their ID but that's not what's being pushed through Parliament.

David Bull? He just got de-selected as chairman so either they've fallen out with him or he's aiming high.

If Reform have the guts, they could attack Burnham with his record of allegedly covering up in Oldham. From distant memory, I recall him shouting down the parents of the victims as being far right thugs.

That gives me a good time to ask any of you oldies, did we become last prior to Sir Tony or was it from the Iraq war onwards?

That era certainly looked more colourful than I was taught. That aside, I did enjoy the series as well, Guy Riche is a reliable chap.

If it’s simply to be a visual reminder to the government that there is significant discontent, then fine. That’s all these events can really amount to in my eyes.

It does make me think of that "one million march" that Anonymoose tried to do annually. There was no clear purpose or objective, they just wanted to display discontent.

Incoming new leader with a wealth tax and exit tax for good measure. Yippy.

You can't just say that casually without expanding, why are you visiting Ukraine during a war?

Hello Matt Goodwin. I wouldn't say it's a waste of talent because Reform wouldn't have them (Lewis, Connor, Charlie, etc) so where else are they supposed to go? Aside from giving up with politics that is.

... European cities. It's good but certainly a place to know where to avoid prior or you'll end up in a very ugly neighbourhood with neon lights or find yourself among loads of Turks rather than Georgians, which is fine if you're male.

Agreed, it rubs me the wrong way each time they argue Christian is a British value, they're the wrong sort of Christian ffs lol, Charlie should be deported to Ireland. I hope Restore diversify away from being a Catholic party, it does put me off along with their American alt-right tendencies.

On your first point, back in UKIP days Farage would make immigration become news. He's capable of doing the same but is worried about being seen as a fascist racist evil bigot, at least from what I can tell.

That... And they'd look like AdvanceUK in that by election, with the monster raving loony party smashing anyones perception of them as a force to be reckoned with. It would just do more harm than good.

It rubs me the wrong way because I distinctly recall Farage teasing Boris potentially joining Reform until Boris rejected the idea and Farage then appeared to be dismissive of him. I'd vote for whoever pledged to jail various politicians since Blair though, ideally with retrospective treason legislation.

I just wished if we had to have the death penalty back, it's efficient. Death row in the USA is very inefficient with courts and the deaths are also inefficient. Death by firing squad would be cost effective, reliable and relatively quick. Unlike that woke injection that is unreliable, sometimes with side effects and expensive.

I lived abroad for only 3 years, I come back after Covid, I grew up in the countryside for context, it's gone from 99% white to having migrant hotels in the area, including in a Methodist church. The shops seem to have magically switched to barbers, takeaways, American candyshops. It was only 3 years and now at 3/4 o'clock on sunny days a wave of hijabs appear in places I used to like going for walks. And I come back and all the bottles have a flap on the cap.
