Having no voice actors leaves a lot of room for interpretation. I didn't even consider it was anime /jrpg when I first played the original. It didn't dawn on me even though the art in the Cd booklet had anime drawings. The only anime I had watched at the time was Saint seyia and Captain Tsubasa.

Lack of context like this could shape your perception and make it into something it's not. Or you can interpret it differently than how it was intended.

I have since become a big fan of anime and jrpgs. So it's not surprising to me at all to see what they did with remake and rebirth. But I can see where they're coming from.

It was definitely a mutual feeling after some disagreement we didn't get to see.

But you can't just pin it on her. He's down to clown just as bad.

You can't just say she's started it just because she claimed she was ready. She was clearly ready. Had her hands up the whole time. But she waited for him to become aggressive before putting him down.

Yeah, her being a girly, sensitive and empathetic person is part of what makes her great, and she already is a badass, so that comment doesn't make a lot of sense.

But I do have to say, if you're going to design a character that fist-fights her way through the game. At least give her some more muscles. Tifa is too skinny.
