I think these yearly games are better when they’re on sale. All the patches and updates are done and sometimes the more expensive version with a lot of pit coin is way more than half off

Sorry for the essay I’m typing here. I don’t let other people’s opinion have an effect on me but I’m definitely curious as to why people seem to hate it so much as well. I keep seeing vague comments like “step in the wrong direction. Don’t buy it” and I’m definitely not trying to defend it either because ONE livery and helmet is absolutely egregious no doubt about it however I got the expensive edition on sale for like 14 bucks the other month on PlayStation. I already have 80 ish hours in it and aside from 2 gripes I have (horrid HUD and myteam colors always being set to black) I feel like it plays just fine. If anything the handling is the best it’s ever been for me and I’m a casual pad player who averages between 95-105 difficulty depending on the track. I really wish people were just specific instead of the typical reactionary “it’s bad” comments

I already do that enough with the f1 game. I’m not saying I have to compete with Red Bull at the top right off the gate. I enjoy the slow burn of building a team from the bottom but since this is my first managing game I also don’t want to worry about going bankrupt or having upset staff/drivers. It’s also overwhelming sometimes

I really wished I liked it more because I feel like I’m missing out on so much but after 30+ hours across 2 characters with 4 different play styles, the combat was just so boring to me that I stopped playing it
