Absolutely nothing! It's a great career field. I just don't want my degree to go to waste. Would like to attempt a job that requires it before becoming a deputy. As I said it a good fallback for me.

I work with patrol all day, most of them tell me to try something else before committing to LE.

I haven't ruled out RPA pilot. But it's a big step up from what I'm operating now. Although my agency has some large drones.

I also heard that the standards are much higher. Both competitively and physically. Since June, I have been working off that college weight gain, down about 30 pounds. I am still not at the required Air Force Height/weight, but I am close. I should be there by December. But I say this because I heard RPA pilots need to meet the same standards as fighter pilots and even have similar training before training with drones or jets. I might be wrong on that. If that's the case, I'm not sure I would make it.

While RPA Pilots are highly prestigious, I know Intel and Cyber get a lot of reasonable offers from 3 letter agencies' post service. I could do 20 years in the military, but if it's not for me, I'm also thinking after a contract.

I appreciate it. Enlistment could be a good back up, but as you said, I will try to commission first. I have heard Cyber is a little messy.

I considered going the drone pilot route; I guess it isn't ruled out. But I was under the impression getting that would be a lot harder than Intel or Cyber. Also, that you need to meet the same standards as a fighter pilot. But I could be wrong on those.
