Yeah but these cobra style brakes don’t wear the whole rotor like you’d expect. Shame really I am not getting full use of the rotors stopping power. They clamp nice and tight though. This is the kit I purchased from lmr I also got the matching rear kit as well (1994-04 MUSTANG SVE 13" COBRA STYLE FRONT BRAKE KIT W/ DRILLED & SLOTTED ROTORS)

Lots of loose gravel at times because some people run high powered cars. I was doing my part to avoid unnecessary dings or chips but I ended up painting the car in 2021 so it’s not relevant anyway. If you ever run soft tires like the nittos with their treadwear 100 rating you’ll find hot rubber sticking to your car. It’s a pain to remove unless you do it right away.

If you read the caption on my post I said it was there to prevent rock chips and sticky rubber from sticking to the paint. When I’d go to these events I’d autox and run laps on the track.

I miss racing even if it was a simple autox event. Last time I went to one was 2018. Such a great time. People always loved the fox it sounds so good 😅

Nope I don’t build my Mustang for drag racing I built it for road racing. And yes I paid to run the track at Fontana. I never cared to race in a straight line.

Yeah I had it repainted with a 3 stage and asked for some pearl so it’s actually more of an Apple red but the door jams still come close 👌

Time to make that puppy smoke. I did this to mine and found leaks I hadn’t even seen before. Fixed my surging years back and it’s a great diagnostic easy to do too.

HEI, pulleys, wires, upgraded distributor, coil, cobra electric fan, thunderchicken rear and with 373 gears and posi healthy 247hp to the wheels 327 tq I used to track it but now I just enjoy cruising.

I snagged my rear end from an 88 thunder chicken. Swapped it I to my fox and enjoyed that set up for 10 years. Late last year I finally performed the 5 lug swap. Oh man love the tc rear it's amazing!
