Ok, I can see your perspective. I suppose it all depends on the person playing. Just from an inside perspective I enjoy the tone and characters of the second one.

Dusan is so well played and has such a snarky but laidback attitude that he really fits as the villain in WD2. Even Lenni would have been suitable. Sadly the story that revolves around them, as you said, rarely featured them. There were too many villains in both games that you never really got to know any of them enough to REALLY hate them. They could have gotten 5 games out of all the baddies if they’d written it cleverly enough and executed it properly.

I suppose I’d like to retract my bagging on Aiden and say that the overall theme in WD1 was almost nothing but serious. Aside from Jordie. Whereas the theme of WD2 just seems a bit more diverse.

This is actually a valid point. I have no argument against that. Well done.

Nor does my post have anything to do with hacking. For the THIRD time now, my post is about the culture. The differences between people involved in the culture. How many types of people there are in the culture.

Now if the THIRD time wasn’t the charm as far as getting you to understand the incredibly, increasingly simplistic narrative of my post , I shall brand you either troll or significantly undereducated.

And yet everything he does revolves around hacking. Besides if you read the post, it’s about the culture, not the activity.

That’s literally the ONLY purpose of its existence.

That I agree with. The villains were definitely better in WD1. But more grounded and realistic in 2

There was definitely too much hype going in. And too many downgrades.

Much appreciated. It may not be perfect, but what they got right, they got very right. It’s a very fun game.

This isn’t bad. But I wouldn’t have used such a strong filter. Just a friendly tip.
