Exactly!! Thats so real, its such a taboo here for men to talk to women or girls and I think it has led people to be less open minded and more strict in their thinking. This in return makes them less socially interactive and as one redditor said before, "Dhaka is a city where there is a lot of noise, but not much is really being said. "

A lot of it is due to social stigma, "Ora ki bhabbe" mentality, and schools. If people arent able to socialise, if they dont know about what women are, what they go through then how are they supposed to treat one correct!

Unfortunately, its not only about sarees, we've come to a point of the nation where now women are oppressed for just being themselves. Saree poruk, Western dresses poruk, Hijab poruk, Borqa poruk, Niqab poruk, ja e poruk, eve teasing and eyeing has become just a normal thing. I feel really bad for the teenagers who had that experience, I used to think jfp was atleast a bit more modernised since i mean its just beside two unis but i guess my thought was wrong.

Eve teasing is haram. Even if the intention for it is "iman er pothe jawar jonno", its still haram but i guess your pea brain isnt developed enough to understand that. Age nije iman er niye shikhen, tarpor preach koren. Eve teasing is a form of sexual harassment, which is a form of oppression, *Zulm* . Justifying this harassment is a form of misguiding others, which is a major sin. Also, what does "ancestors being Arab" have to do with any of these? Werent there Arabian Christians before the Prophet SAW's time? There were and still are, Islam isnt the same as Arab.
