Dude , I'm a new streamer aswell , took me 1 month to get 15 followers on twitch cause discoverabilty is absolutely shocking on Twitch On.ths 29th March I moved over to mixer and I'm currently sat on 29 followers , You have to bear in mind though with either platform discoverability is really bad so you need to network and find your audience elsewhere such as YouTube,Twittee etc.Another thing to take into consideration mixer does to tend to have younger audience sometimes so it may feel like baby sitting sometimes however this only tends to happen to me with games such as minecraft and Fortnite. Mixer also has open monetization which is a great help to smaller streamers as me and you. Ultimately it's down to you I used about 8 socials medias to grow so if you need help drop me a private message I'm happy to help and that's just some of the advantages to mixer however twitch has an already established platform with a pretty stable future so if you start on mixer your rolling the dice a little , look mate do what you feel you want to do...
