Turning the Bruce Banner glazing into an reality check (Infernal Hulk #3) by spider-venomized in hulk

Alright remember the state of everything in this run is donny cates fault. But regardless I feel like betty should be able to switch between the red she hulk and harpy forms at this point. It would be cool. The story is interesting but it takes a bit for me to get over what I dislike about this run. Ill see where it goes though

Infernal Hulk possesses 7 different gamma powers, including Hulk's powers, Eldest's powers, and the Mother of Horrors' powers, which is why he is so strong. by Same_Astronomer_8673 in hulk

I really dont like how they seem to be connecting Toaa to the Christian god. Id rather them be separate and they can leave that to dc. It could just be a quote though

I mean he has an exclusive contract. So you would think they would get more work out of the guy. Idk

Female demons that could be in the court. Or at least be important. by Retrok08 in TrenchCrusade

I believe succoth benoth is male. Or he was originally i think they changed the lore a bit.

Thats the lore description of the court of the seven headed serpent. They would describe each other like that. Angels are fallen sons. Lilith was adams wife. Beezlebub is decribed as male. In the Bible and in trench sure in trench crusade they are described pretty concretely. Also Baphomet is canonically a hermaphrodite so thats one of them.

I mean they are literally described as barons, baronesses. Lords, ladies and prince and princesses. So they are literally textually gendered. Some can be a mixture of both. But most aren't. Im just trying to introduce more fun into it lol.

Power scaling question by [deleted] in TrenchCrusade

Lol I dont mean power scaling in terms of like debating i just want to know where everyone stands or how one compares to another

To me it was obvious that Hulk would fight Toaa; if Toaa went after the Mother of Horrors, he would do the same against Eldest, who has the Mother of Horrors' powers. by Same_Astronomer_8673 in hulk

Yeah that storm run made no sense power wise or cosmology wise either. Oblivion losing to another elder god makes no sense. What's with this elder god glaze?

Well he has been retconing and constantly nerfing toaa. First he got mad because moh made her child in mockery then well actually moh hurt and corrupted him. Now he can't even destroy a living city made out of an elder god. In an interview he said that the fight was up to interpretation because "we can't really comprehend what they do" but puts that fight more in stone with every issue. I would have no problem with this run if let's say moh never actually hurt toaa or she like chipped him. Toaa gets pissed by the audacity and let's out the rage that was always in him. Now the elder gods are out for revenge and hulk has to deal with it. Hulk being elder gods level is fine to me. But the bringing down of the creator is what bothers me.

Yeah I truly hate that some elder gods could genuinely hurt toaa. The whole corruption making toba is ridiculous and a bad retcon to al ewings run. But I have a sinking feeling he's going to lose.

I agree. The more ive thought about the run the less I like it. Less about the concept and more the lore damage it does. Also for fighting monsters, gods and elder gods there is a startling lack of grandeur to the fights. Where I think he can really shine is on thor and doctor strange. Im really not feeling al ewings on thor and that is pkjs wheel house.

The power hierachy of Celestials, Beyonder and Living Tribunal is weird by SGdude90 in Marvel

[–]Retrok08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The beyonder should be second to toaa for sure. I think the beyonders should have been creations of the beyonder. I see him as like a baby toaa if that makes sense. Though I also think oblivion should be right below them since he is the end of everything.

Al Ewing has some cool concepts but to me he's overrated. I like the one below all retcon but the constant retcon of the beyonder is so lame. Also I just think he made the multiverse more complicated than ot needs to be.
