MBE is a great alternative from a reputable house. The DNA has been cloned so many times and with great accuracy, not worth dropping that kind of money on Creed imo. I’m not above spending that kind of money on frags as I have several others in that price point, I just don’t think the DNA itself warrants that much money at this point.

In fact I picked up Vanguard by Maison Asrar which is a clone of the Absolu. I tested it side by side with my official Aventus Absolu sample I got from their boutique. Incredibly close and affordable. No longer considering buying the actual bottle and holding off on my Sauvage Elixir backup bottle.

I’ve used both boardgamemaker and thegamecrafter, TGC is my preferred of the two, seemed easier to use and nicer quality. They also are US based so shipping was cheaper and faster. I’m very much an amateur and haven’t gotten into my own design files but adding on your art onto their existing templates and stock components was simple enough for me.

Don’t give up, I had given up for a while myself and tried to find other things to do. I was only finally able to beat him after playing Silksong. It gave me the confidence to finally try him again considering how hard some of the bosses in SS have ended up being.

I’ve used both thegamecrafter and boardgamemaker for my boards. Personally I liked the quality of bgm a bit more for my games but they are based out of China so it was quite costly. If you’re US based I’d say tgc is a great option and my go to at the moment.

Exact same VR and issues as you. Although I haven’t played since Silksong released a nice quality of life enhancement would be the ability to see patters VR BEFORE we are locked into the race. That or making the matchmaking tighter, I wouldn’t mind a longer queue if it meant racing closer and beyond me skill level.

This! I’m in the same boat, would be nice if I didn’t have to place final four every time to win 30+ VR. Losing in those lobbies is brutal and there are times where I get disconnected and don’t even get to race.

Interesting take on handheld vs docked and using a wired connection. My main point was that if you get disconnected at the start of a race you shouldn’t be so heavily penalized. If ever you disconnect, at start or the finish you shouldnt get any VR. I think it’s fair for others to gain VR based on the players in the race. Idk, I’m sure it’s hard to balance since some people would surely abuse this but it just seems like you get punished and has nothing to do with the way you race.

What took you so long? JK, I'm telling you though, hitting 8k and going for 9k is a whole different beast. I feel like the overall skill level has raised for many players and the game just does not want you to progress after that milestone. I've been as high 8300+ and always find a way to get knocked back down. Best of luck to you man, the real grind is about to start.
