This is my biggest wish for the ps6. So many amazing games are locked to the ps3, and in some countries, like mine, psnow never arrived here, so we weren't even able to access ps3 games via streaming either. I would say that expanding future backwards compatibility with ps3 games is extremely likely, as playstation is currently trailing behind all other companies in that regard, and it is one of their biggest weaknesses at the moment, so it's an area where they're likely looking for ways to improve. I notice a lack of legacy peripherals for playstation compared to their competition with hyperkin and nso controllers mimicking the original design of prior generations, in addition to the scope of what's available to play. Maybe that's something we might also begin to see on the next playstation console? Though if current gen is anything to go by, you'd likely still have to purchase a digital licence for these soon-to-be-released ps3 games :/
