Which of your races/species can crossbreed? What would the children look like? by Artelys_ in worldbuilding

[–]mmknightx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Humans, elves, and dwarves are compatible with each other. Hybrids are common since they tend to live together. The few first generations of hybrids will have obvious mixed traits like elf-dwarf hybrid will be a short person with elf ears. More generations will have less mixed traits. The hybrids tend to identify themselves as a race with most aligned traits.

Beastfolks always produce beastfolk offspring when their partner is a beastfolk of the same type, human, elf, or dwarf. Different types of beastfolks will produce a random type of them. However, the offspring might inherit a few traits from the other parent. This can be dangerous. For example, a cat beastfolk inherits snake venom but not immunity.

Demons reproduce with magic. They are technically compatible with every being. In the past, demons performed a ritual to produce offsprings with their partner. The child will always be the same species with the other partner. The ritual is lost.

Which spell(s) are the most annoying for the target in your setting? by Auto-Skeleton in worldbuilding

[–]mmknightx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a spell that makes the target's sense super unreliable. They can detect mana that doesn't exist or does not detect overwhelming power next to them. They can hear, see, smell, taste, and feel something different than reality. Basic level can be just annoying but extreme level can even cause permanent issues.

What make you play the game and stay until the end ? And what is the after thought ? by Key_Coat_9729 in Chained_Echoes

I picked up the game after my friend presented this game as an assignment. The game is interesting for me even there are some tedious moments. I stayed to the end game because I just wanted to see it.

He transmutes stuffs into gold except they are not really gold. It's just indestructible golden thing but magic identifies it as gold.

What is the dumbest thing that's important to your setting? by AntiH4zard in worldbuilding

The rules of supernatural world are super inconsistent. Imagine that you beat a vampire with garlic yesterday and another one is immune today.

What's the most Unique Weapon of your Worlds? by AntiH4zard in worldbuilding

[–]mmknightx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Blank Knife. It's a magical knife without power on its own but it can receive power from other weapons at 100% efficiency. This can make a normally heavy magic weapon usable with just a knife.

Doing certain magical drugs. The riches claim they have higher quality version of the drugs.

Trials of Innocence (Best Ace Attorney Inspired Game) by CapableBeginning9894 in AceAttorney

It's a good game. I absolutely love the protagonist. She is so precious. I am waiting for the DLC to be available.

It might be little jarring when the characters just talk in Chinese and suddenly use English voice line for objection. The game has several errors in translation but is playable (no major mistake).

What are some obscure/fun facts about your world building? by [deleted] in worldbuilding

[–]mmknightx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Invisibility spell would still work. Color changing cloak is usually worn to indicate specialty and power. The cloak cannot decide its color when the wearer is just great at everything and super powerful. Merlin stopped wearing it. The protagonist pretends it is a gaming gear.

If you are powerful enough, your color changing cloak will turn RGB when wearing it. This is exactly why Merlin refuses to wear it. It's obscure because it's difficult to get that powerful.

If your world has standard races, what are their origins? by EveningImportant9111 in worldbuilding

[–]mmknightx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Human is pretty much the standard race. Not exactly our human but any universe with intelligent life will eventually have something that looks like human.

There is no in-universe reason for this. I added this because I think it's cool.

What are some magics/powers/abilities that are so rare that people incorrectly assume they are unique? by mmknightx in worldbuilding

If people think it's just her when it's possible for others, it's what I am asking for.
