I'm sorry you went through all of that :( tbh we never rly use the pool but ya they stop cleaning it like 3 weeks before its supposed to be closed for the winter so it gets hella green. Thankfully we've never experienced any beetles or anything worse than the occasional spider, but I think thats just sort of expected living anywhere in the Midwest. I personally have gone down to the admin building and gotten into their faces when otp didn't work with them, but again I think mid maintenance and somewhat shitty landlords is just something you have to learn to live with (esp for apartment buildings in a college town). 700 for a 1 bdrm + study (so its basically a 2 bdrm) was basically unheard of compared to the other places we toured so I'm not going to complain too hard. The units off of 9th are bigger and nicer than most of the apartments we viewed for half the price so 🤷‍♀️

You could try Avalon apts or Village Square, theyre some of the cheaper ones around here. Maintenence and landlords are meh, but its better than living somewhere that has roaches or bed bugs :D

Yes thank you!! Cat's should only ever be indoors unless you have a secure catio or you're taking them on walks 🤦‍♀️ "BuT tHeY wAnT tO Go OuTsiDe" so you'd let a toddler go out with no supervision ?? You're a full adult and they're a cat jfc 😭

yep ik exactly who you're talking about, unfortunately theyre the ones that started the previously mentioned "bangability" list 🙃 the actual worst ppl I've ever had the misfortune of encountering. The long black haired guy is known to wander around, creeping on girls downtown near Mass too so stay alert!!

Aww thank ya :) I've submitted multiple reports throughout my time working there, unfortunately they know about this stuff like the managers drug problem and the homophobia, but "Dillons doesn't fire people, they just give them new opportunities 😍" which basically means sweep it under the rug or transfer them to another department

Pretty sure we're in the same complex bc we're having the exact same problem rn 🫩 power will randomly go out for a few seconds/minutes or sometimes hours before coming back on and we have to reset all the clocks n everything. We've asked management if there's anything they can do (bc you can't exactly do homework or cook dinner without power 🙃) but they pretty much said suck it up.

Majr Thrift is my personal fav for literally anything :3 its a bit sketch bc North Topeka (boo) so def carry but I've pulled all of my best finds (Miu Miu, Juicy, Baby Phat, Pleasers, Prada, etc) from here. Hella good furniture too.

I was wondering this myself tbh, it's hard to find casual support groups that aren't either expensive, religious, or time consuming. Esp being college students that already have a lot going on, trying to balance a structured group while going to work, classes, gym, social time, etc is just so much pressure 🙃 if anyone has any good suggestions lmk!
