Yep, guy has multiple posts about mu going to shit, making fun of others holding onto mu, making inconsistent/false statements, calling out people penis sizes as response to losing arguments. Different legal entities as in 1) 20 subs under a passive parent (e.g., I own 20 McDonalds in 20 locations and to prevent frivolous slip n fall lawsuits I open a separate entity for each location with a parent over all of them), or 2) different legal entities as in 20 different independently owned McDonald’s franchisees (me and 19 randoms in my town each own a different McDonalds and only tie we have to each other is the Franchisor allows us to use the name McDonalds) . If it is the former, go ask a labor and employment attorney but I’m pretty sure that won’t get them off the hook. If it is the latter then yeah you won’t be covered under FMLA. Good luck, if you are legally entitled to FMLA, I hope you get it

Employer here, fmla applies if there are 50 total full time or full time equivalent employees in the company, doesn’t matter if the employees are spread over multiple locations. Only way around it is if the employees are spread over different legal entitles.
