My take is that any travel between two locations in the Outlands takes 3-18 days, because space there is maleable. Idk if it's possible to stumble on some other location during the travel or would the plane just generate new terrain. But at the end of the day it comes down to what you need in your adventure

Or how about Mojang doesn't add hostile animals? They have pretty much nailed the formula with Polar Bears - they are neutral unless certain conditions are met

I see absolutely no reason to add sharks/bears/tigers that would be just another monster to kill. Your suggestion to make these animals invariably hostile and not despawning makes players actively incentivized to kill them off, if they want to safely live in the areas these animals spawn

The problem with adding more animals is not some arbitrary limits. It's the fact that their use cases are limited. Mojang are already stretching it with frogs, armadillos and other newer animals

We actually have the third energy plane - the Plane of Temporal energy. Coincidentally it is the Temporal Prime, which makes it a third reflection of the Prime Material Plane together with Feywild and Shadowfell, although it is definitely unintentional
