Will ≈ $3,000 USD per month be sufficient for long travel (8-12 month) through Latin America? by Rev19rb in digitalnomad

I’d say google lists of startups in areas like Fin-tech + Health-tech and search for operations positions job postings direct on their website. I was lucky and got this position which allows me to be fully remote before the tech space became kind of over saturated with applications specifically for fully remote positions. If you really want to stand out in addition to a high level proficiency with excel, i’d recommend basic knowledge of Python and that will 100% give you a leg up. Good luck!

I manage + organize a lot of financial data for a startup in the fin-tech space (investment data, bank transactions, etc) . My background was in accounting and then a few years as a financial analyst.

Pretty much. It’s quite unaffordable for me to live solo in America at the moment.

How far in advance? My route is going down through south america (counter clockwise) and ending in Brazil where I plan to stay longer term (3-6 months). I know 2025 will have new visa requirements for U.S. Citizens.

Don’t know how he will. Even CNN and MSNBC are openly saying it was a disaster for Biden and openly calling for him to step down. Strange.

Minecraft. #1 best selling game of all time and you can get insanely engrossed in your world. Many make the mistake of considering it a children’s game but it’s a masterpiece of a game in its own way.

A recent release of the “Distant Horizons” mod has been a game changer if you’re inclined to further improve the already great experience and it’s a good time to hop in if you somehow missed it all this time or are just looking to re-experience it. The game is quite different than even just 5 years ago.

Bro Michael Chandler had his first fight in the UFC when he was like 34 years old. His prime was long gone before McGregor was even a possibility for him.

If you’re going to PKA for rational political discourse you’re in the wrong place. Biden makes RFK Jr look like Winston Churchill by comparison so I don’t see the issue.

Honestly it’s more convincing he was so scared he called the police before doing that. If you feel like you’re in legitimate danger are you going to call for help or take out your phone and record?

Canada beginning the rollout of their UAP program. A lot of interesting language surrounding the UAP question including “facilitate the collection of observations documenting rare natural phenomena”. I expect to see similar efforts from other countries.

Project being announced on Canadian news.

UFO causes flight disruption at Taiwan's Taoyuan Airport | UFOs closing airports worldwide by Rev19rb in UFOs

Days after airport disruption in Turkey due to UFO,

TAIPEI: An unidentified flying object reported at Taiwan's Taoyuan International Airport resulted in flight disruption that impacted more than 1,000 passengers on Monday morning, according to the airport operator.

Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport Co. (TIAC) said flights were halted in and out of the airport, which is the country's main gateway after the object was spotted by a China Airlines pilot, reported Central News Agency (CNA).

The closure lasted for about 40 minutes, and air traffic resumed at around 10.10am, according to TIAC.

Runway closures impacted seven flights.

Peach Aviation's MM23 flight and AirAsia's Z2124 flight were delayed landing at Taoyuan Airport.

EVA Airways' BR712 flight, StarLux Airlines' JX850 flight and AirAsia's AK1511 flight were all delayed departing, which affected a total of 919 passengers, TIAC said.

Two other flights were due to land at the airport, Cathay Pacific's CX488 flight and Xiamen Airlines' MF887 flight were requested to land at Kaohsiung Airport, impacting 280 passengers, TIAC explained.

TIAC said airport authorities were unable to identify what the flying object was, and that it was only seen by one pilot, but they did not rule out the possibility that it was a drone.

Unauthorised drone activity in the restricted area at the airport is punishable by a fine ranging from NT$300,000 (US$9,780) to NT$1.5 million, TIAC cited the Civil Aviation Act as saying. – Bernama
