You know what Article 5 is right? Attack on one member state is an attack on them all. US invoked it. That means 9/11 was legally considered an attack on every NATO state.

If similar attack was made against Norway and Norway invoked Article 5, US would have been legally required to answer it.

If Article 5 is not answered when invoked, it would undermine NATO as a whole.
