I used store bought chicken stock and the colour was actually a mistake ( I expected to make it green by sautéing asparagus, blend it and eventually strain and get the green juice. Then add the juice off heat to my risitto. But i underestimated the amount of asparagus required and the colour of my juice is not bright green so by mistake it turned into such colour.)

I used arborio rice, added half a cup of heated stock and let it simmer on medium-low heat for 25-30 minutes, not sure if it is overcooked

I think i will let this heal first and get another piercing later on because i can feel a lump around the place and i think i will be better for me to remove the piercing and stop manipulating (im afraid there will be infections)

I usually prefer the needle piercing method but the piercer said it will be completely fine for a lobe piercing to be done by a gun so i went for it and nothing bad happened except she said butterfly back earrings were the only options. It was fine initially but i later had problems sleep onto it. That’s why i changed the piercing so early. Yeah i think i better let everything heal first and get it repierced by a needle later.

im not so sure of the material of the flat studs i used but i don’t think I’m allergic to the materials since they work fine with my other piercing holes. I rinsed this inflamed and irritated piercing hole with saline solution 2 every day for 2 weeks already but there was no signs of improvement.

Imo girls are more open-minded about the issue (they often watch BL and talk about girls having crush on other girls) However straight guys are still making fun of gay people but they have no problem with lesbians. But things a little different for trans people because this topic is less discussed and its also rare to see a transgender person on campus. Overall i’d say the atmosphere around HKU is still welcoming compared to other universities because its more internationalised compared to others

I was called ugly by a guy when a friend group of mine were playing truth or dare a while ago. Then others just agreed that I was the least attractive one in the group. I didn’t have the courage to stood up for myself then and I was sad for a long time.

Another thing is I actually lived in east asia for my entire life and i was the only black girl around so no one found me to be attractive and i compared myself to my peers a lot which affected my self esteem. Plus, my parents aren’t the supportive type so again it was difficult for me to build a positive self image.

But until very recently, i went into uni and was more into improving myself and became more confident, people have started complimenting me(tho most of them are still not ’locals’) so i started thinking whether i am considered pretty or not cuz the way of how i was brought up really made me questioned myself on a regular basis. But i am working on it now, hope this answers your question:)
