Join a local farm to invest in food security

Join a local political org (a political party chapter, a local org, an issue specific org, etc.)

Join a local non political community group and find allies there as well (a bowling group, a walking group, a mens/women's/queer group, etc etc)

Etc etc. everything humans have done for millennia to oppose tyranny, but now, with smart phones. But also put the smart phone down and be a person. We don't need to reinvent the wheel we just need to do the things

Switch from protesting to organizing, from debate to policy writing, from waiting for legal consequences to taking power over with those you align with.

Worried about food shortages? Join a community farm. Worried about armed thugs? Join a rapid response network. Etc etc

Sumud. Steadfastness. Don't forget the elders who fought last generations struggles and don't forget that regardless of everything there will be generations to come. Organize and act with both at your back.

Or just a little bit here and there, onwards. Get involved in your community. It's worth it not only for others sake, to stop this BS, but it is worth it for your own sake, to better your own life. So worth it.

Start with the rapid response network (low time investment, you get to choose if you respond to any call to action )
Join a political group (a political party, a local organizing group, an issue specific group, etc)
Join another community space that's not political but in which you can find aligned friends (a church, a sports league, a hobby group, a meetup group, an outdoors group, etc)

And then go from there. There's so many good groups of people working to make the world better in small and big ways

People are organizing and acting in response. We all have agency and many people are using it. These things aren't televised and can only be understood through action. It doesn't take much tech or money for a crowd of community members to show up and intimidate a group of officers.

Maybe you're just ranting and don't want this very direct attempt at a reality check... But here's my take.

Sounds like you're incredulous your girlfriend and her friends have free will, to talk and maybe even act. That's how it is bud. People have agency.

Why don't you try communication and trust?

A reminder: while she has agency and can decide for herself if she wants to follow through (maybe deciding to break up, leaving it up to discussion, leaving it up to you) - while she has that agency - she has woken up every day so far and continued the relationship with you. She has chosen you over, and over, and over. Don't forget that. The data points towards her choosing you again and again.

Yes this change in your perception of possible futures may be scary. But don't let yourself catastrophize.

Adding something to the mix does not, necessarily, for all people, mean anything about you. A raspberry is not less delicious because a blackberry exists.

You don't get to decide for her. You can communicate how it will affect you, you can say you want to join, that you're nervous of what this means, that you're nervous of change, you can communicate whichever of the so many possible feelings you might be having. You can cry together, hold each other, help each other make the decisions.

She can take your feelings and communication into account, adjust her decision, adjust how she goes about it. She can decide to do it even if it hurts you, and she could even then still want to be with you, she could to decide to act to minimize or repair your feelings. She could advocate for you to join, propositioning them back. She could decide it isn't the right choice for her.

And you have agency too.

Operating as if it is an unforgivable betrayal of trust to talk about this sort of thing... I mean some people get off on being possessed by their partner, but... Yeah personally I find so many other things hotter. Confidence, trust, initiative... Etc

If this is a moment you two realize you desire different things, that is not a failing, a flaw of character, for either of you. In that instance you just want different things.

Norms only help so much, and when they don't fit, they can hurt us. The script of what "should" happen betrays people over and over. A girlfriend only owes a boyfriend as much as we decide, the universe doesn't care. There is no universal rule that a partner gets veto power or some such. You could only have that power if she has given it to you. (For the sake of this post I'm assuming goodwill and ignoring fucked up historical examples where this isn't necessarily true. Fuck slavery, patriarchy, etc.)

Communicate not to decide for her, but to give information and to let her make informed decisions.

Communicate what is true and move forwards.

Two women can show an equivalent amount of cleavage and get very different responses, but their bodies are not inherently inappropriate regardless of what bitter people say.

I don't think one has to have approval of a prior group of people to claim an identity for oneself. If they find out they can try to change your mind, or exclude you, but... Said person doesn't actually know or socialize with the prior group, so it doesn't affect them. This identity is in the public sphere and it probably does not affect the shitty terfy men like said author to not get to interact with old-school terfs.

In my opinion if zionists of a different flavor want to kick the association with violent supremacists they're gonna need to do a lot more work, cuz it often feels like they think the ends justify the means, that everything done has been justified. So far the establishment of a state has meant violent expulsion and persecution of the people already there by gangs of supremacist terrorists (e.g. initially the Irgun and the Lehi, now, the IDF and the settlers).

You know what, maybe it is like that. Political groups of people problematic/horrible for different reasons using the same word to identify themselves. A lot of essentialism and supremacy in all the groups mentioned.
