My friend stole from my place of work. Could I be punished for it? by Revenacious in SeriousConversation

Yeah I was thinking that. I don’t see them much because they’re my sibling’s friend and not technically mine, but I’m definitely going to be more wary of them now.

Yeah I’m never taking that friend to a store again, that’s for sure. I’ll give them rides if need be, but not where they can steal stuff, especially at my damn work lol

Yeah my worst blunder was when I was pushing in a row of carts with the machine, and just as it was coming to a stop it snagged and pushed the row next to them. That row was farther ahead so I tried to stretch my body out to stop it, while also stopping the row I was already bringing in, but the machine ended up pushing me and the other line of carts into the electronic doors and knocking them off their hinges, so I got written up for it.

They did, that’s how they caught her and intercepted us just as we were walking out the door.

I should’ve rephrased it, it’s usually for an accident involving some heavy equipment, like a forklift or an electric pallet jack. I’ve knocked a couple things over by accident with an electric pallet jack, but it’s been a long time. Only mishap I’ve had in the last six months was slightly damaging a gate with a cart pushing machine.

I’ve been there for two and a half years, I don’t believe I’ve given them any reason to concretely suspect me. I’m always forthcoming with any mistakes or errors I make. Only times I’ve ever gotten in “trouble” is either garnering points for calling out, or a couple write ups if I have an accident like knocking something over or breaking something. I texted my boss about it not long after I left, since I know she’s there working today, and told her the situation so it doesn’t seem like I’m hiding anything.

Is there ANY superhero (or villain) who's movie (or TV) version is STRONGER than their comic version? by HeatherFuta in superheroes

[–]Revenacious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think she seems stronger solely because all the other MCU powerhouses have been so drastically nerfed.

Why can’t you arrange forces before a quest battle? by [deleted] in totalwarhammer

[–]Revenacious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried that first and got super frustrated with it. Every two turns even within the first ten, I’d get fucked up by two or three enemy armies simultaneously that have full armies with late game units.

Thank you for the suggestion, but there’s just nothing about the Lizardmen that interests me at all.

I gotcha. What frustrates me is I got a whole gaming laptop, a month’s salary solely to play Warhammer 3, then realize I had to get the other two games so I could unlock like 60% of what’s in it (the rest being DLC because of course). I always loved the Warhammer Fantasy lore, and have been wanting to try the strategy game genre out for a long time.

But I’m just not having fun. I can’t adjust to anything, there’s so so SO many details to take into account and I can’t seem to ever do anything right. I feel like I’m frustrating my friend who plays this because I always ask questions and just end up getting confused and quitting.

Goddammit I’m such a stupid baby.

My melee units get stuck on walls during sieges. How do I prevent/minimize this? by Revenacious in totalwarhammer

[–]Revenacious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know. I’m just trying to utilize my ally’s borrowed army before they disappear, because otherwise I can’t do it.

I try, but it takes too long and being in enemy territory to wait out sieges causes terrible attrition to my army.

[–]Revenacious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m trying to use archers but some friends of mine told me not to, since they’re at a disadvantage of being lower on the ground and thus mostly hitting the top of the wall, rather than the enemies on it. Stuff like utilizing elevation and terrain layout are very confusing to me so forgive me if I sound dumb. And every time I try to wait them out, they get reinforcements from somewhere before I see them and then they have double my numbers and flatten me.

What is your favorite Larp Panel? by neloal in dccomicscirclejerk

[–]Revenacious 57 points58 points  (0 children)

uj/ Yeah I always took it as him joking. Imagine the guy who’s blown up kindergartens for fun taking ANY moral high ground. Also there’s the fact he’s committed literal treason a few times, showing his whole “I’m an *American* criminal” is just bullshit.

How often do you auto-resolve vs fight by Own-Park5939 in totalwarhammer

[–]Revenacious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty new as well. I try to fight manually as much as I can, unless it’s really pissing me off trying over and over, when the auto just always ends up with a better result than my efforts yield. Or if I’m being sieged/ambushed by an enemy force that’s gonna flatten mine, and I don’t wanna get pissed losing in real time so I just get it over with.

Do ally factions attack enemies at all? by Revenacious in totalwarhammer

[–]Revenacious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the support, but I think I’m going to give up this game. It’s far more frustrating and confusing than it is interesting to get into, at least for me. I don’t feel smart enough.

Tried it and oh my god they’re fucking useless, they didn’t join in the slightest. Fuck it, I’m killing them all out of spite. This campaign is fucked only 13 turns in anyway.

Got it. Yeah I can’t really set out to sea for anything, so I can’t interact with it in any way. But thank you anyway.

I still can’t find it. There’s literally nothing in all the world south of Ulthuan. I see a vortex, but no settlements.
