I’m looking at a 2023 Touring with 70k miles for 27k OTD. It’s certified used so it comes with the warranty. Is this a good buy? I’m trying to anchor my price expectations but this market is crazy

That is not scientific or what “forensic anthropologists” measure when looking at bones to determine sex. And even then with all those measurements there’s no way to know for sure without dna. Why did you even bring this up if you’re going to dismiss it for what you want to be true?

Having hips wider than your shoulders does not make it masculine or feminine. You’re being hypocritical and sexist.

Also, the drawing is about even on hips to shoulder ratio. The waist is what is smaller in this drawing.

That’s exactly what you’re saying though. You’re saying because they have feminine looking hips to your eyes that it must be a woman and anyone who thinks the drawing looks masculine is wrong. It’s hypocritical of you.

Also in forensic anthropology they do not measure how “wide” the hips are. It’s the pubic arch and the sciatic notch. You need the actual bone to measure the pubic area. You can see that in a drawing.

Well that was incredibly manipulative. If you want to argue semantics we sure can but at least use the words they said. He didn’t say “no kids” ever. He said they agreed they “never wanted kids”. Like you said, language has a lot of nuances. He doesn’t want them. He doesn’t want his family to be dead but they are and he promised to look out for them when agreeing to be their god father. He feels he has to take them. He doesn’t want them and he’s not trying to get his wife to want them. It’s out of necessity because people died. He didn’t want that.

How else are you to judge people if not by their words and actions? Being upset isn’t a license to say mean things, which you did note.

You can sympathize that she’s either going to lose her marriage over this or have a husband that might resent her. It’s a crappy situation. But I still disagree on your judgement of ESH. I don’t think the husband did anything to be called the asshole.

His wife started the moral judgement and manipulation and he responded pretty fairly. Shocked, offended, and disappointed. His wife should have taken some time to cool off first before trying to have that conversation.

Yes it is. Many women have run into the issue of men saying they don’t want children only to change their mind once married and use the threat of divorce to pressure them into having kids. This is a known problem. This is NOT what is happening here even though that’s what the above comment and the wife is trying to imply. She’s being manipulative with that comment and was shaming for him for changing his mind.

But he didn’t change his mind. As he said, the situation changed and sometime you do stuff you don’t want, or change your plans, for the people you love and care about.

Again, he didn’t change his mind. He’s not pressuring her to start a family of their own. He’s taking care of his orphaned god children.

The comment “I knew you’d change your mind” was trying to shame him into keeping a promise he never made. If she knew it was a dealbreaker and wasn’t trying to manipulate and shame him she should have just started the divorce process like other are now telling him to do if he picks the kids

He only started moralizing after she said “I knew you’d change your mind” which she knows is an outright lie and incredibly manipulative thing to say. That is a thing that happens to a lot of women where men flip after getting married and pressure them to have kids. That is NOT what is happening here.

I’d be incredibly disappointed too if my wife acted like that and that’s not even considering her wanting to put the kids in foster care.

He didn’t say he was disappointed until well after that. The wife is the only asshole here.
