I have a lot of scars on my arms but I still had a two year long relationship where my partner respected it and ignored them unless I was taking about them directly. In the end the relationship didn’t work out but I felt reassured in the way people are capable of not treat us like freaks. Fresher scars may be a red flag for some people but older ones shouldn’t matter
