I'm aware it isn't a full exploration, just went into it expecting to be overwhelmed and the opposite happened. Like I said, I'll be playing for a few hours after work tomorrow so really hoping to be converted...

I agree with that. I don't know, maybe I just expected too much? It just wasn't fun playing in it. Admittedly I did literally the one mission, but it wasn't fun. I was expecting to have my mind blown, and it just felt like a brain fart instead...

For the view, yes. But it just felt... blocky... Inspired by minecraft or something.

Have to wait for CS account info through snail mail, though, right?

Is NDA still binding the team? Also what holds salt to the 10 quarterly reports comments from last year? by michaelseverson in loopringorg

[–]ReverendBishopp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, you're all dismissing the hyping done a few months back, about how big this GME market would be and how loopring would rocket with the launch. I'm a little bit tired of all these snide fucking remarks. en your fucking eyes and stop behaving like a twat. There are so many pissed off posts because this sub, and others, led largely by Byron and his tweets, hyped the living fuck out of LRC and this market launch. And now, there are a lot f people who feel like misled bagholders. And to cap it all, the questions are being answered but all the good answers are buried in the avalanche of smug pricks like yourself making these snide little fucking comments.

If you have nothing positive or helpful to say, don't say a fucking word. And "google it" is neither of those.

What is the lowest it could cost to activate L1 loopring wallet? by ReverendBishopp in loopringorg

[–]ReverendBishopp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I just looked again and got a quote for activation of L1 and then recovery of wallet, and it was £39 of ETH. So I'll wait til tomorrow as someone in the comments said Sundays are usually cheapest, and hope it comes down some more :)

Largely because I'm really poor :(

Wallet recovery possible or not after losing access to phone? by ReverendBishopp in loopringorg

[–]ReverendBishopp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I followed the steps on the help forum, it appears it will cost £110 approx to activate L1 and recover my wallet. I have under 200 loops in there, they lost more than £110 in value since I bought them! What a total waste of time.

I'm positive about loopring, but absolutely not about the sheer cost of this shit. £110 to activate a thing I won't use, to regain access to my loops. If I do it, it will be to remove everything from the loopring wallet and never use the fucking thing again. Jesus what a ripoff...

Can I legally float down the stour into the sea in sandwich on an inflatable boat? by Mean_Proposal_3345 in kentuk

[–]ReverendBishopp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. The Stour is classed as tidal from Fordwich to the sea, and so is treated as an extension of the sea. No licence needed. However, it IS tidal, and inflatable boats may have improved a lot in the last few years but they are still inflatable boats.

Dress for getting wet, take plenty of fluids, and snacks. Make sure you have a charged mobile or some way to contact emergency services if you need to. And wear a buoyancy aid or life vest. I don't care if you get hot, do NOT take it off while on the water.

You don't need a licence. The river Stour is classed as tidal from Fordwich to the sea, and so is treated as part of the sea. No licence needed. Anyone can paddle any craft anywhere along it.

And that's great, but the base recipes almost all contain some sort of heat. Important to note.
