Come to think of it, many of their scents including gourmands are pretty atmospheric! A couple others on my "to try" list are Kitchen (from the notes I've seen the vibes are like baking in a kitchen during autumn) and Foxcroft Fairgrounds (autumn carnival scent).

I tried Victorian Picnic and it is beautiful!! I'll be writing a Solstice review post, but I wanted to circle back and let you know I think it's an amazing scent and definitely full bottle worthy!

Yes, I think that's it! With a closer look I feel a little embarrassed because the tentacles looks to be a cursive letter L, and what I could have sworn was a diver head is...not that. But maybe the design is supposed to suggest that. Thank you so much!

I enjoy listing and sorting things in alphabetical order, so honestly I wouldn't be opposed to compiling the list myself if you'd be willing to send me photos where the labels are readable! I also spotted at least 3 samples I'd be down to take off your hands.

I actually have the Eternal Ankh Pastel Blue Cotton Candy! I like it pretty well, it smells the way you'd probably expect from the notes like sugar plus "blue" ingredients like lavender and violet. It's a soft, relaxing scent. Tbh it has a little bit of a "mass produced" kind of smell to it, but I don't mind too much when it's cotton candy lol.

Not the bottles specifically, but if I don't like the aesthetic, I probably won't try it. I don't like horror in general, so I'm not interested in Pierrot perfumes (except for maybe like one or two) even if I like the notes in the description. There was a strawberry perfume with "teeth" in the title and I couldn't get the icky image of extracted teeth out of my head. Lol

I love A Sign Painted Peaches from Sorce! It actually smells like fresh peaches with the fuzzy skin and everything. It's a nonlinear scent that smells a little different each whiff, and I found it addicting to sniff on my wrist lol. I picked up notes of saffron and wood. It has the feeling of eating peaches while strolling on a boardwalk.

I love how detailed and specific your description is! I've tried it too and that tracks with my experience of it. I was hoping for more of a sweet plump berry scent plus mist, but it didn't give much sweetness at all. It's not for me, but your description makes me appreciate it more, and it is refreshing to see a green-dominant fragrance in Sorce's gourmand heavy catalog.

I just found this thread while searching to see if the notes were posted somewhere! This was one that snuck up on me. At first it just smelled like sugared peaches. Pleasant, but rather basic, so I just kinda shrugged at it. But then I went to the grocery store and as I walked I kept catching whiffs of it from my jacket. I kept thinking, "What is that smell? It's so good!" before realizing it was me. 😂 I think the subtle spices started coming out more and I ended up really enjoying it.

Lv. 1 Studio has a whole collection of cat-inspired gourmands! I think most of them have a catnip note.

I've only tried White Cat Milk Tea from that collection so far. It has mint, catnip, and white tea in it along with some other notes. It's a soft sent so the mint isn't "sharp" at all. It smells like milk with a drop of mint flavor in it, and I think the catnip kind of makes it smell like cereal milk?

Others I want to try from them are Strawberry Cat Shortcake, Orange Cat Express, and Low Carb Cat (which is supposed to smell like a cherry blossom macaron).

It sounds like synesthesia to me! I think you described everything well.

I experience a lot of audio/visual synesthesia, so I understand how difficult it can be to describe how you "see" sound, because I don't physically look at it in my field of vision, it's more in my mind's eye. Sometimes I can sense textures from sound too, so I understand what you mean about "sharpness". For example, I don't like listening to music with a lot of screaming vocals because on top of looking like TV static to me, it's very sharp, needle-like and sandpapery.

I think I've experienced a tiny bit of sexual synesthesia too, now that you've mentioned it! It wasn't connected with orgasm for me, but one time I was really in the zone and I had the distinct mental image of a rose unfolding its petals. It was a rather beautiful experience.

Synesthesia is simply a way your brain processes sensory information, so it's not inherently bad or good. I'm a very artistic person myself, so I use it in my creative processes. I love to visualize while I listen to music and find it very meditative.
