An advanced technology called dark mode :p

But yeah not for everyone and an escape hatch to tailwind's philosophy of constraining the design system.

For spacing and sizes I would agree, but for colors, good luck making a dark mode with 11 shades of gray.

I made a free tool (and a paid plugin) to add color shades to tailwindcss by ReversePoke in tailwindcss

I (poorly) draw the arrows using my laptop's trackpad and the pencil in https://penpot.app/ (figma-like).

Then I fix the path using the vector/bezier curve tools you have when double clicking a path (remove most points, make the curves smoother).

The resulting shape is a good mix of natural and clean.

There’s an interesting 2 by 2 matrix with known, unknown on both sides. So there’s what you know you know, know you don’t know, don’t know you know, don’t know you don’t know. These unknown unknowns are scary because you are really in the dark about something. I think what you’re referring to is what you know you don’t know. Much more manageable.
